FSI NASCAR NOTES FOR KANSAS SPEEDWAY 10-24-2021

Nascar Cup (10)

Hey everyone!  Sorry no video for Cup, I lost my voice.  Here is our chart and some quick notes.

1-10  (Playoff Drivers plus 2)

Larson – Won last week and is very expensive.  He could and should dominate especially early.  My only worry is he is in the finals so they may experiment with a few things being a similar track to Pho where the final race is and that could cost him.  He is so far ahead in points that he just needs to do well, no dominate.

Blaney – Good in package and at track style but sometimes struggles on tire wear tracks.  Think he is Okay in cash and feel he could lead some today.  He has a decent cushion but not as much as Larson so he maybe a little bit more conservative.

Brad K – Think he lacks resources and form.  He is in striking distance of 4th place so he might sacrifice finishing position for stage point strategy.

Kyle Busch – Like a box of chocolates, you never dun know what ya gnna git.  Good at track and style but can wreck easily too.  GPP

Chase – Just can’t find the speed, but do they take some resources from Larson to try and help get him in finals?

Denny – Like him second to Larson here.  If Larson does not win he is my second choice and has some PD

Truex – Needs to swing for fences.  Think I like him better next week.  GPP with pricing.

Logano – Bad in this package GPP to Fade

Byron – Almost chased down Larson for win last week and lead a bunch of laps.  Prime play for me in cash!

Bell – Would it surprise me if he stays in top 10, no.  Price is decent with some upside so GPP.

Notes from 11-20

Harvick showed speed last week and was up there the whole race but still a GPP.  Redick is cash because this track matches his style.  Kurt Busch is cash also due to good finishes an tire ware tracks.  MDB can also sneak into cash consideration Price is cheap and you hope he wins before end of season.  Dillion I though would be great last week but struggled.  I’m off him for cash but fine in GPP.  Suarez (Sorry TK I was wrong on him last week!  He did well), Jones and Briscoe have done well recently but it starts them a hair too high.  Their 6 k price tags do make them GPPP relevant and maybe a cash last man in.   No interest McDowell and AA

Notes 21 -30

Here is were we built Xfinity and smashed yesterday adding in the studs to a solid foundation.  Three highly owned Cash plays are Buescher, Bowman and Stenhouse.  I like the last two the best but cash starts with 2/3 of these guys.  I get it if you scoff at the 9800 price tag of Bowman but he is good at this track and package and as top 10 upside.  He should at least get 10 PD points you would think.

You can make a case for Bubba in cash here.  I like the others better.  Your GPP options are Custer, Lajoie, Chastain and Alfredo.  Custer by far is my Fav here.  Ross is too high, Lajoie starts too high and Alfredo is a boy among men.

31-40 Preece with his starting position and price can be another cash lock and the third guy with the 2 of the 3 guys in the 21-30 range I mentioned.  Newman is a bit more expensive but is only down here because he was caught up in the wreck last week and it was not his fault.  With better luck today he should get some PD.

The rest are fades based on skill and equipment.  Parker Kligerman is a GPP play with some floor not losing you points and a good driver so there is maybe 15 PD points there if the car holds up!

Good luck today and hope to be back next week for all 3 Series videos!
